RECOMMENDATION:)

I'd like to recommend the film that has impressed me so much that I have watched it six times so far. It's Saving Private Rayan.
Saving Private Ryan is a war film set during the invasion of Normandy in World War II. It was directed by Steven Spielberg who won the Academy Award for Best Director for his work on this film. In the film, a group of US soldiers go behing enemy lines to to retreive a paratrooper whose brothers have been killed in action.
For me, it's one of those films that one has to know. I liked the film especially for one reason. Namely, it showed true aspects of war and how a young man behaved during this hard time. Although the film is quite long, the action is very interesting and keeps in suspense so that one doesn't get bored. The scenes in this film just knock one off their feet. They are thrilling, heart-crashing and touching. I've watched the film with bated breath. In short, the film is wonderful and can be recommended not only to war movies' fans.

five years from now

I won't write anything about my future plans, dreams or perspectives.Even my imagination is helpless here. It is because I don't like thinking about my future as I'm rather pessimistic about it. It is the only thing I'm pessimistic about and the only thing that makes me upset when I'm thinking about. Too many dreams and plans fell through. Too many times I was disappointed with reality. To tell you the truth, I'm afraid of future. Yes, I am. I'm terrified, petrified, mortified, stupified by future visions...;) and I prefer concentrate on the present moment. The future is not guaranteed.

Teaching practice:)

"The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires..."

So, I'm supposed to write something about my teaching practice...Well, I've have had my teaching practice in a senior high school and a junior high school so far. In both types of schools I felt great:) When it comes to the first lesson in a senior high school, and the first lesson is said to be very stressful, I must admit that I didn't feel anxious and I didn't break out in a cold sweat when I stood in front of 20 young people staring at me:) I just said to them nicely, "Hello, it seems that I'm gonna be your teacher today. Are you scared? No? You should be..." and the whole lesson was quite good:) But too short:) Lessons should last 60 minutes! I was a bit scared when I was to teach in a junior high school because everyone kept telling me that students in junior high were terrible, very disobedient and rude. But it turned out that it wasn't so bad and I went through it successfully, without any litter bin on my head:) I thought students would be throwing books or chairs but, to my surprise, nothing like this happened:) My students were mostly boys and they were very polite and friendly:) To tell the truth I was a bit sad when I had to finish my teaching practice in these schools. I wanted to stay with these kids because, contrary to popular belief, young people aren't as bad as we think and believe they are. For me, they just need understanding and somebody to believe in them and not somebody who will keep repeating that they are terrible and hopeless. Adults have to try to look for something good in children and to show them that they can be good people. It's not difficult, really;)

When I was in my primary school, I wanted to be a teacher. When I was in my secondary school, I still wanted to be a teacher. Then I came to our College and in the beginning I felt discouraged by everything that I met here. And I didn't want to be a teacher anymore. I didn't know who I wanted to be. But then I started my teaching practice and I now I'm sure who I want to be. I want to be a teacher. I want to be a teacher who inspires...:)

CHILDHOOD :)

Once upon a time there was a little girl called Iza :) She lived in Wilkowyja with her parents and her younger brother, Dawid. The girl was very shy and as quiet as a mouse. She liked playing with dolls and she spent much time on it. There was one more thing she liked - smiling:)

As almost every child, the girl loved Christmas time. She was waiting with anxiety for Santa Claus to come because she was afraid of his long beard and strange voice. Whenever Santa said something to her, she burst out with crying. But a new, beautiful doll was enough to make her smile again:) The girl believed in Santa long time but one year he didn't appear on Christmas Eve. Since then, she knew it was her parents who bought presents and since then Christmas Eve wasn't as special as it used to be earlier. Nevertheless, she couldn't wait for a new doll to enrich her collection:)

The girl liked spending her time with her brother and they always had lots of fun.

And so the years passed and now the girl isn't shy any more, and she isn't quiet any more...:) She doesn't play with her dolls any more and she still doesn't believe in Santa... Now she believes in many other things... There is one thing that hasn't changed - she still likes smiling:)

And they lived happily ever after ;)

Christmas time:)

Hello again:) Christmas is approaching, everybody is happy and excited (especially KJO students who have classes on December 23) , children can't wait for Santa Claus to come ... but have you ever wondered what would happen if Santa got stuck up in the chimney? It would be a disaster! Watch this:

And one more thing : I hope you've been nice this year!
You better be good whatever you do, cause if you're bad I'm warning you: You'll get nuttin' for Christmas :)

do dreams come true?

Well, I hope yes. And I hope someday I will be an owner of a small York Terrier:) I am really dying for that! These dogs are real miracles! And I warn everybody of calling them small hairy mice!
Don't even try! ;)

And now a few dogs quotes:)

"There is no psychiatrist in the world like a puppy licking your face"

"Dogs are miracles with paws"

"I think dogs are the most amazing creatures; they give unconditional love. For me they are the role model for being alive"

"One reason a dog can be such a comfort when you're feeling blue is that he doesn't try to find out why"

"Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole"

"Happiness is a warm puppy"

And now, Ladies and Gentlemen, something worth remembering :

"IF YOU CAN LOOK AT A DOG AND NOT FEEL VICARIOUS EXCITEMENT AND AFFECTION, YOU MUST BE A CAT" :)

My music addiction:)

Hello there:)

Today I'm going to write a few words about my favourite music band which is Coldplay :)

Coldplay are a British alternative rock band formed in London in 1998. The group comprises Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, GuyBerryman and Will Champion.

I felt in love with Coldplay a year ago and I've listened to their songs almost every day ever since.

As you can imagine, I know most of the songs by heart:)

What made me so fond of this band??? Well, their music and, first of all, their lyrics are so beautiful and thoughtful that it's hard not to be touched by them. Unbelieveable as it seems, I am a romantic and contemplative soul and Coldplay turned out to be the best choice for me when it comes to music style.

And here you've got some fragments of my favourite Coldplay song lyrics :)

"...and I realized that you were an island and I passed you by... and you were an island to discover... I should have not let you go... so I crawl back to your open arms..."

"Nobody said it was easy,
it's such a shame for us to part...
Nobody said it was easy,
no one ever said it would be so hard... I'm going back to the start..."
"So I look in your direction,
and you pay me no attention, and you know how much I need you, but you never even see me... but I'll be waiting for you..."

"What if there was no light? Nothing wrong, nothing right? What if there was no time, no reason and no rhyme? What if you should decide that you don't want me there in your life?"

"You cut me down a tree and brought it back to me, and that's what made me see where I was going wrong... You put me on a shelf and kept me for yourself, I can only blame myself, you can only blame me..."

"When you tried your best but you don't succeed...
When you get what you want but not what you need...
When you feel so tired but you can't sleep...
Stuck in reverse...
I will try to fix you..."

And now, you have a chance to listen to my favourite songs by Coldplay and also to see my favourite films: "Elizabethtown" and "The Notebook" :))) Enjoy:)
